After a two-year coronavirus shutdown and restrictions on travelling, finally, Singapore fully reopened its borders to all vaccinated visitors on Friday, who just need to produce a COVID-negative test certificate.

As a part of adjusting and living with Covid-19, the aviation hub, a crucial gateway for people arriving in Asia, joined other countries in the region that have lately lifted travel restrictions. The city-Changi state′s Airport was humming with activity as travellers flooded out of the arrival area and hundreds of people were seen queuing at the departure zone for travelling out of Singapore.

On Friday, Malaysia′s borders were fully reopened, and thousands of automobiles and motorcycles streamed through a one-kilometre (0.6 mile) causeway that connects it to Singapore. Kuala Lumpur′s main airport was also crowded as tourists poured in. Tourists were earlier not allowed in Malaysia, a major tourist destination, however, now vaccinated travellers can enter with just a CovID-negative test report. (NDTV, April 01, 2022)
